lets put it this way, if it is a replica, it’s a very good one.
If I were to guess it appears to someone’s attempt to build a whole car out of
real
lambo pieces purchased from junk/wreck/fire/total-loss bits.

I dont think so. his previous listings so parts for ferraris and what not, and has sold off the exhaust from a gallardo.
this might be legit

The body looks too well shaped to be a kit.

Ihave no idea. not even the most delusional idiot on the planet would sell a replica in that state for 100k, so it may be real :( this is one of my dream cars, even down to the colour, so seeing it in this sort of state is heartbreaking
(assuming it is genuine, of course)

it could definitely could be - even a complete replicas in good shape rarely sell for even a third of that price. I dread to think it was possibly able to get to this condition

Looks like building the car from scratch from parts to me?
I also love the listings he has:
$20 wrench
$100 Murcielago Owners Handbook
$125 Torque wrench
$25 wrench
$100000 Diablo
$ 12 wrench

This reminds me of the wrecked diablo tavarish wrote about last year. Someone probably bought a totaled one and went over budget or got overwhelmed.

I’ve spent the last five minutes comparing photos between this ebay car and this burnt Diablo carcass.

I dunno... There are a lot of common details I wouldn’t expect under the skin of a replica.

I was temped to call BS, but that’s exactly what a Diablo interior looks like once the dashboard is removed.

Looks shonky enough to be legit...
Guy has previously sold (Or had for sale) an LP640 in 2014. On an African export website of all places. Photo matched up with the Laguna he had for sale, but not the BMW, although the Laguna stated it was bought for a house move. The names on this listing don’t match up with anything else I can find, and the photos don’t appear to have been taken at the postcode on the listing.
The diablo seems to have arrived in it’s current resting place after 2009, the streetview shows changes to the unit it’s in since then and the most recent update this year.
I think it’s probably real, but maybe with a shady history.

If you have to ask, it’s probably not genuine. Does the ad have a VIN?
Just looking at the square tube frame hanging in front of the front wheel makes me doubt it very much.

I just read the ad: 110% scam!
“Bought from prince of UAE...”
“I’ll fix basically everything for you...” if you send money first, no doubt!
“Correct colour purple” - what purple?
And since when is an abandoned project a “barn find”?

Yeah, this seems likely. Honestly, that probably isn’t a bad way to go if you want a cheaper (probably still very expensive) Diablo.

Jay Kay crashed an SE30 that was in that same purple color. It is officially totaled but you might still be able to resurrect it in UK. Lambocars tells:
“This car was assessed by Automobili Lamborghini SpA for repair, but the insurance insisted it could not be registered for the road again, even after Lamborghini spend 4 days to figure out how much it would cost to restore it to it’s former glory.
Today this rare car is located at the Cleave Motor Salvage company in the UK, Mr Ian Banks was kind enough to supply some detailed photo’s on this rare car, but they had to list it as a category B write off. This means they can’t sell the entire car but only parts of it, during mid-2004 the engine was actually offered for sale.”
The front fender seems to be very bent in Jay Kay’s former car but in the one in the question the fender is intact but still in same color. But the left door is intact in both while the sills are missing/destroyed. Maybe a coincidence maybe not...
